256-BIT Encryption

Mumboe employs round-trip encryption, ensuring that all data is secure as it travels from your Web browser to our servers and back again. We utilize 256-bit Equifax SSL Certification and 1024-bit RSA public keys to ensure security of data during transmission.

Password Protection

Only users with a valid user name and password can access Mumboe. Mumboe Account Administrators control what these users can see and do in Mumboe, including which folders and documents they can access.

Web Site Security

The Mumboe web site has been certified by GeoTrust for SSL certification and McAfee for website security certification.

• GeoTrust®, the world's second largest digital certificate provider, verifies the identity of the Mumboe site.
• McAfee SECURE: ensures Mumboe passes a set of daily security scans that helps address concerns such as identity theft, credit card fraud, spyware, spam, viruses and online scams.
• TRUSTe: Mumboe is a certified licensee of the TRUSTe® Privacy Seal Program. The privacy statement and practices of www.mumboe.com have been reviewed by TRUSTe for compliance with its strict program requirements.

Own Your Data

Your data will always belong to you. Mumboe allows you to download and export all of your information. For convenience, customers can order a full backup of their account data anytime. The backup includes agreement records as well as supporting documents, notes, tasks, milestones, contacts and agreement summaries.

Defending Your Data

Mumboe uses industry-leading data storage to ensure the absolute security of your sensitive business data, including:

• Amazon Web Services: Mumboe uses Amazon Web Services (AWS), a SAS70 Type II "cloud computing" service that provides highly scalable, reliable, fast and inexpensive data storage. AWS offers the strictest of industry certifications in order to verify its commitment to provide a secure, world-class cloud computing environment to safeguard customer data.
• SunGard: Mumboe uses SunGard Availability Services to host our servers. SunGard is a SAS70 Type II facility & ISO9001 certified and defended with 24-hour physical security, picture identification systems, redundant air and electrical systems, and other backup devices designed to keep our application up and running—and secure.

Application Security

Mumboe takes several steps to prevent against unauthorized system intrusion:

• Database servers use non-routable IP addresses.
• All operating system software is maintained at the highest recommended patch levels. Unused ports are disabled and unused applications removed entirely.
• Network and internal security is enforced using a series of internal and external network security components including perimeter firewalls with Network Address Translation, IP masquerading, non-routable IP addresses, and other safeguards.

Redundant Backup

Mumboe also protects your agreements against loss by redundantly storing the documents on Amazon S3 as well as with regular backups to tapes. In the event of a disaster, backup tapes are retrieved from Iron Mountain, our secure offsite data protection provider, and brought to a designated disaster recovery facility.
